Marios is a serial entrepreneur and experienced board director who worked in significant positions in both the government and the private sector. After becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant, he started his career as an auditor, and soon after moved to the Investment Management sector where he led the asset management department of two banks managing money for institutional investors. Following his appointment as Minister of Transport, Communications and Works of the Republic of Cyprus, he gained significant experience in government planning and policy in the transport and Infrastructure sectors.During the last seven years he has invested with various partners in both traditional SMEs and technology startups, involved in both their creation and scaling process. He is currently involved as a CEO in an online social gaming company and various other projects in Cyprus and Abroad. Additionally he is member of various Boards helping them to improve governance and strategy. Marios is also a qualified Charterholder and a Qualified Risk Director.
